Weekly Activities

Note: To find out if any of the activities below have been cancelled, check our calendar. If the event doesn't show up on the calendar, than it's probably not happening that week. Also note that the activities below take place during the school year.

Sunday School 9:00 a.m.
Junior and senior highers meet before the worship service for prayer, pastries, and a message from God's Word. This Fall we'll be studying the Gospel of Luke together.

THE EPIC: Sunday Nights 6pm – 8:00 pm
Our youth group meetings offer time for games, worship, Bible teaching, and small groups for students in grades 7-12. This Fall we'll be going through Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song of Songs, and Isaiah together and and as always, we'll see what these books say about Jesus. It all kicks off September 12th with an amazing movie night you won't want to miss!

S.W.A.T. Team: Sunday Mornings 9am-10:30
The SWAT Team (Servants With a Testimony) is a group of dedicated, externally focused student leaders who plan and lead service projects in the community and seek to preach Christ by the way they live. This team has worked with Habitat for Humanity, Marta's House, the Oregon Food Bank, and the Gospel Mission to bring Christ's love into Klamath Falls. Every Sunday morning after our Bible Study we meet to discuss what it means to be externally focused, and to plan our next projects together. Our meetings occur during the last 15-20 minutes of the Sunday school hour, so most of our time as a team is spent serving rather than meeting.

Other stuff

Several people have asked me about the lesson I taught on the prophecy of Modern Day Israel. I've created a pdf file with my notes which are viewable here: The Prophecy that Blew My Mind

Our youth group from time to time hosts one-of-a-kind events for outreach and/or fellowship. You'll never know what you're missing unless you get involved.
